Editorial & Medical Review Policy
How We Write
Content about dementia, psychiatric illness and addiction affects real decisions about real people. We treat it accordingly. This page explains who writes what you read here, who checks it, and what we will and will not claim.
Who writes our content
Articles and care-program pages are written by the Sharanam care team and reviewed by a named clinician before publication. Every clinical page carries a "Medically reviewed by" line naming the reviewer, their qualification and their medical registration number, linked to their profile.
How we review it
- Every clinical page is reviewed by a qualified clinician before it is published.
- Pages are re-reviewed when clinical practice changes, and the review date is shown on the page.
- Care-program pages are reviewed by the clinician who leads that program.
What we will not do
We do not publish superlatives ("the best", "India's #1"), and we do not promise clinical outcomes. Dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's are progressive conditions; psychotic illness and addiction are typically chronic and relapsing. Good care measurably improves safety, dignity and quality of life. It does not cure these conditions, and any provider telling you otherwise is not being straight with you.
We do not publish fabricated testimonials, and we do not display star ratings assembled from anything other than genuine, attributable reviews from real families.
