How Admission Works
Admission at Sharanam is a conversation, not a transaction. Here is exactly what happens, so there are no surprises.
The four steps
- ✦ 1. Admission discussion — an unhurried call to understand what your family is facing.
- ✦ 2. Clinical assessment — medical, cognitive and mobility evaluation by our physician.
- ✦ 3. A care plan you approve — the plan, the team and the full cost, in writing.
- ✦ 4. Settling in — a named caregiver guides the first days; you get daily updates.
After assessment, admission can usually be arranged within 48–72 hours. In urgent cases we move faster.
Before You Decide
Admission questions families ask
Yes, and we encourage it. You are welcome to tour the facility, meet the care team and see the suites before any commitment is made.
Cost depends on the level of care and the type of suite. You will receive the full cost in writing before admission — we do not add charges later.
Care plans are reviewed monthly and adjusted as needs change. If a resident ever requires a level of care we cannot safely provide, we will tell you and help arrange the right facility.
